Last Monday Geej, Emma and I went to see Katy Perry. Neither Geej nor I had been to a concert in an arena for more than 20 years! It was fun to be with so many young women and girls enjoying their favorite star. I became a fan after seeing the movie about her life, when I learned to appreciate her dedication to being utterly HERSELF. Katy Perry definitely has a legacy she’s leaving, and it’s not just about blue hair! If you haven’t seen Part of Me I definitely recommend you do. Super inspiring. Here’s a photo of Emma and me in our Prismatic glasses and one of Katy flying around over the crowd.
This week has also been difficult for me because of health challenges for elders who I love. While this is part of life, actually living through these changes is not easy for me. Tell your beloveds that you love and cherish them – today. Do not wait for another, or a better time. It’s always the right time to express your love.
