Today I say good-bye to my Dell desktop. I am fully moved into my new iMAC and fully an Apple customer. I started out my first computers were MACs (after learning to use UNIX on my university’s computer when I was in grad school – Oy!).
Then about 15 years ago I moved to PCs because I began to work in a team environment, and back then the documents you created on one platform did not interface well with the other. Also my husband Geej, who has been my main computer and technical support for 15 years now, was working on PCs, having earlier moved from MACs because so much of the music writing software he was using was made only for PCs.
WOW – how the world has changed! For awhile, I wasn’t sure if Apple was going to survive at all. And now, well, Apple’s marketshare is enormous. Let that be an inspiration for you whenever you see dips in your business and you’re uncertain about the future. Plug into your creativity again and get real about what your people really want and need – what they will LOVE and be super willing to pay for.
