I am so Grateful for you!

written by Maggie Sale Ostara, PhD

Today we are finishing work for the week, and turning our attention to cooking this afternoon.  We’re preparing to visit friends and family tomorrow for Thanksgiving and provide our non-traditional favorite:  fresh Dungeness Crab!  Emma and I will make an apple and pear crisp, with blueberries, and Geej insists on making yams, too.

While I love the food, my favorite part of this holiday is spending time with people who I don’t see that often – and taking a whole day or even two days to do it.  My life is busy, so I really appreciate the times that I take with friends and family.  I’m making this more of a priority this year, even as my business grows and gets more busy.  I’m grateful to be able to do this, and to relish my long term relationships.

To those of you in the US, Happy Thanksgiving to you – and to everyone else – I am so grateful for you!
