Springtime is a paradox for me, especially since moving to Sonoma County. As you know by now, I was born in the spring, and spring is my favorite season. I love days getting longer, and warmer temperatures and flowers and trees blooming.
This has also become the most difficult season for me because of the heavy pollen here and how my body reacts to it. This year has been particularly challenging with colds and flu coming with the allergies, as the allergies negatively affect my immune system. I’ve been sick more the last six weeks than ever before!
With this has come interesting, not very easy, lessons. Patience for one. Finding the right timing and the right amount of effort along with rest and surrender. For a fiery Aries like myself, all this can be challenging. I really do love what I do, and I have so many ideas and plans–I love to go go go!
I am looking at renting a house on the coast next year for allergy season. My daughter has made it clear she does not want to move ;-), so I’ll see if I can find something close by. I feel fortunate to have the ability to do this if I need to. Now that I think about it, a few months on the ocean won’t be so bad. . .
